Vermont Studio Center

I had my most productive residency to date in November 2018 at the Vermont Studio Center. I’m grateful to VSC for funding me with a full-month’s fellowship to this magical spot, and to all the incredible writers and visual artists I met who inspired me with their creative boldness. Although I spent most of my time sequestered in my studio (where I discovered how much my process benefits from taping my entire work on the walls) and eating, a bunch of us did venture out on a few hikes. Then it snowed. Winter wonderland! Also, in addition to the "official" presentations by writers and artists, the writers held an informal reading at the local laundromat. Even writers need clean clothes.
